Description
Inter-Coarse panel filters excels in capturing larger particles, typically those 10 micrometers (µm) or larger in diameter. Classified under the “ISO coarse” category, these filters are specifically designed to handle substantial airborne debris. This includes debris such as dust, pollen, and other larger particles, which contributes significantly to maintaining cleaner indoor air.
Inter-Coarse Panel Filters are adept at trapping larger particles (PM10 and above), creating a cleaner environment by removing noticeable contaminants from the air. The Inter-Coarse is highly beneficial as a pre-filter in HVAC systems, safeguarding more efficient filters downstream and thereby enhancing their performance and extending their lifespan.
Construction
Made from robust materials like synthetic fibers bonded to a high-strength beverage board, these filters are designed for durability. In addition, this provides a low pressure drop, ensuring smooth airflow and energy efficiency.

We adapted our NATA Air Filter Test Facility to classify the performance of the existing Inter-Fold Cardboard Panel Filter, by making some slight tweaks to the construction process we have developed the new ISO 16890 Coarse Rated Inter-Coarse.
